The cashier was on the phone the entire time I was in the store.  Not the store’s phone, though.  No, she was on her cell phone.

She must have said “girl, please” two or three times while I was there.  Who knows how many times she said it after I left.

It’s nice to know that her dedication to her job is so high that she can serve customers while telling her best friend all about the argument that she had with some other girl.
