"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." - Douglas Adams
I don't listen to Bush's speeches. His voice grates on my nerves. Instead I read the transcripts the next day. When I was reading this one I couldn't help but think, "I read this before." Keith Olbermann quickly explains why I might have felt that way.
Thursday, December 6, 2007, Keith Olbermann gave another one of his special comments. This one in regards to the recent evidence that Bush is either a liar or an idiot. A liar because he has been pushing for war with Iran over a nuclear weapons program that he knew was no longer in place or an idiot because he didn't ask what the "information" was when it was mentioned to him in August. A liar based on reports from the administration itself, or an idiot based on the claim that Bush has made in a recent speech.

Yeah, I wasn't surprised to see they had lied, either.
Back in October, Bush started trying to ramp up the rush to war with Iran by talking about world war three in relation to Iran's attempt to build a nuclear weapon. There was just one problem, Iran had halted it nuclear weapons program back in 2003.
Bush claims that he only found out about this new information last week. This is contrary to National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley's report. According to Hadley, Bush was told back in August or September about the intelligence that indicated Iran had halted its weapons program.
