Blu Ray players have come down quite a bit in price so I’m thinking of getting myself one for Christmas. Do you have one? Would you recommend it? Are the streaming options (like Netflix) worth it? Really, really worth it? See, my cable modem is downstairs. I can’t see running an ethernet cable upstairs but I do have WiFi. I’m just not that certain that it is worth the bother or cost (for either one).

I loved the Muppets when I was a kid. I don’t remember ever seeing this bit before but I love it.
Every year I count how many kids (and not so kids) come to the door trick-o-treating. I only count the ones that put a bag out asking for candy.
We were off to a slow start this year but things have picked up quite a bit. So far the count is at 86 give or take say 5 that I may have counted twice.
No, we don’t have that many kids in my neighborhood. Each year we have kids driven in from other neighborhoods.
UPDATE: The final count was 115. Definitely the cutest had to be the 3 year old superman twins.
I’m trying out the Windows Live Writer that is part of the dock on my new laptop. I killed the dock on my desktop so I never knew this existed.
I still haven’t decided if I wanted to keep the dock on the laptop. If Live Writer works, I just may keep it.
I have a new laptop. While I’ve used laptops before, I’ve never actually owned one.
Now I do. Matter of fact, I’m writing this from one.
I was able to get the WiFi set up by myself as well. It’s working pretty well considering the router is downstairs and I’m upstairs. Plus the house is very solid and I often have issues with signal strength for the wireless phone.
All in all, I’m pretty happy with this new laptop.
