Blu-ray has much more color and definition. I have a PS3 and just recently it is now able to handle Netflix streaming. We have been using the Netflix streaming (via WiFi) a lot over the last couple of weeks. It works pretty well. The streaming movies are not in high definition (like the Blu-ray) but they still look good. Since I got Blu-ray I no longer enjoy seeing a movie in the theatre. I do plan to get a Blu-Ray player once I finally replace my TV to something that can actually display HD, and I definitely intend to get one that can handle Netflix.
