We haven’t had rain in a long time, but for the past few days I’ve been listening to rain just outside my window.

This rain isn’t wet, though.  It’s dry and yellow.  It clings to everything.  All the cars have a yellow hue.  It’s making people sick.

The oak trees are raining pollen down when ever there is the slightest breeze.  There’s enough that it actually sounds like it is lightly raining outside.

Personally, I wish it would stop.  It’s making me sneeze and cough and it’s giving me a headache.  Sadly, it will get worse before it gets any better.

Hope Artie is feeling better and that the pollen is not bothering him – we have yellow rain in the spring from the willow trees – right now we have heavy snow falling. Wishing you the best.

I used to live in Florida and now I live in Arizona. I grew up in Oregon so I never thought I’d say this, but I miss the rain. When it does rain here it’s brown, rather than yellow. There’s so much dust in the air that it will literally rain mud.
