Long days

Yesterday was a long, long day.  Today was equally as long.  When I have days like this I have to look for something good that happened.

Yesterday I filled my tank for less than $20.

Today I went to a meeting at the district office so I was off campus most of the morning.  Oh, and I made it to the vet’s in time to buy an expensive bag of special dog food for my dog.  Making it on time was the good thing, the cost. . . not so good.

Sadly, my long days won’t be ending any time soon.  There are only three days left in the week but each promises to be very long.

There are times I wish I didn’t have to worry about confidentiality issues.  This week is one of them.

So is a good thing coming up?

Hell, yes.  I’m off all week next week.  Yeah!  Clap

I have a Toyota Prius.  It only holds about 12 gallons and I needed just under 10.  The much bigger factor, though, was that the cost was $1.95 per gallon.  I love the gas station near my school.

Hello - Sounds like you have had a stress filled day - I wish you smoother ones. Have you tried ordering your
dog supplies on line. A lot of merchants will deliver with no freight or shipping charges. It is a lot easier than
taking the time and work to go purchase it in person. Do you feed your dog organic products? My Sammy had
skin problems and seems improved after a few months on organic only products. What is your experience?

A whole week off huh? I’m jealous. I still have school to deal with as well as work… I also had gas under $2 for the first time since I was 18! Ridiculous… Have a nice break!

I really was caught of guard the first few times it didn’t take two 20 dollar bills to fill my car up. It makes life so much easier to handle when I can travel without thinking in the back my mind about how much gas I’m using. I guess learned to be more efficient with my driving but my car really doesn’t use a lot of gas to begin with..

    Marlene,
Thank you for the recommendation.  Artie must eat a special diet low in protein.  I have yet to find it at the store or online.  I’m also sure that the cost to ship a 20 pound bag would outweigh the savings from purchasing online.

    Business,
Sorry to hear you have to work and have school next week.  Thanks, I will enjoy my break.

    Evan,
Since I have a Prius, I was already getting good gas mileage.  Still, when the prices got soooo high I started to pay more attention to my driving and managed to increase the MPG by about 5 more gallons.  Yes, I can probably be called obsessive about my gas mileage.
