"Girl, please"
I stopped into a local convenience store today. One of those 1 digit number-2 digit number places.
The cashier was on the phone the entire time I was in the store. Not the store's phone, though. No, she was on her cell phone.
She must have said "girl, please" two or three times while I was there. Who knows how many times she said it after I left.
It's nice to know that her dedication to her job is so high that she can serve customers while telling her best friend all about the argument that she had with some other girl.

That is true, and so annoying, I run into that all the time, especially at gas stations/conv. stores

I don't really mind kids slacking in the work place unless it affects my shopping experience. I don't get pissed by the simple act, but if they make ME wait for THEM to get off the phone, then I'll probably get pissed. The ones that roll their eyes about having to help me can go [bleep] themselves.
