15 questions and 63 minutes into the last Democratic debate and finally the moderators decide to ask real questions.

Jon Stewart slams Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos for their insipid questions during Wednesday’s Democratic debate.

The first hour of last night’s debate was a 60 minute master class in questions that elevate out-of-context remarks and trivial, insipid miscues into subjects of natural discourse…which is my job! Stop doing my job! That’s what I’m here for! I’m the silly man!

On the contrary, the questions Obama had to face were the ones most on the minds of the electorate — both the people he pandered to, and the people he denigrated. And he didn’t cover himself with glory in responding to them.

According to the talking points of the RNC and FauxNews maybe.  However, most voters prefer to be treated like adults and would actually like to know what the candidates (all three) have to say about the real issues such as the economy, the war in Iraq, soaring gas prices, etc.  If Obama thinks his former paster loves the country as much as he does is a stupid question that I would expect in a magazine like Tiger Beat.
