Glad I don’t have FPL
In case you haven’t heard, there is currently a massive power outage from the Orlando area south in Florida. There are some outages in Orange County but most of the outages are in the surrounding counties and as far south as Key West.
The power company having the problems is Florida Power and Light. FPL lost two large generators which led to the power outages.
It was just reported that the power was expected back on within a couple of hours. Rush hour will be a bust. I’ll be the first to admit that we don’t know what to do when the street lights go out.
Thankfully, the Orlando Utilities Commission supplies the power to my house.
