A few days ago I posted about a black bear being spotted in my neighborhood. Unless it has been caught in the last couple of hours, the bear is still out and about.
The Fish and Wildlife Commission has set up a trap in the area where the bear was spotted. It’s about 1/4 th of a mile from my house as the crow flies. It’s a good bit closer to my aunt’s house.
So far the trap hasn’t caught anything, in part because there have been too many television cameras trained on the site. They all want to get the capture of the bear on film. They’re also all too stupid to realize that no healthy wild animal will come creeping into a trap that is lit up like a Christmas tree.
The area the bear has been spotted in is very over-grown. It’s a tiny forest in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. I’ll probably drive by and take a picture of the area tomorrow.
Or maybe not since I can’t track down my camera.

Did you know that for Thanksgiving President Bush phoned a few selected soldiers in Iraq to wish them a happy thanksgiving and that he said that was the least he could do.

I have a blog that I am anxiously anticipating my new camera that I ordered from Zoom panel, Only took me about 8 months to get the 10k points for it. My other one had broke. Hope it’s good. Then I can really start to do with my blog site about art that I wanted which is to showcase my art and paintings. This project of mine has been on hold for quite some time now.
At least I am at home with family this year after spending the last 2 Thanksgivings in Iraq, one in Mosul, and the other in Taji, which is a suburb of Baghdad. I left all that behind and even though its been since april, I am still kind of “transitionsitionging, although you might not know it too look at me with my much longer hair. LOL

I miss Alaska, but being back in my home state of KY is not so bad at all, either.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the Yeti has migrated south to Florida for the winter?
Love the WKRP clips. Now I know why I don’t watch sitcoms any more. They used to be funny. Now I just groan for a few minutes and turn them off.
