What’s the point?

When I surf on BlogExplosion I have set Audio to Deny. One of the things that annoys me the most is music blaring out from a web page that interrupts what I am listening to.

Lately I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a point to setting Audio to Deny because I still get blasted with very loud music on some blogs when I’m surfing on Blog Explosion.

There are two possible ways to fix this problem. One is to fix the Audio deny so any sites that start music or videos as soon as the page loads won’t be shown. The second is to let me block those blogs when I run across them.

BlogMad allows me to block blogs without worrying about how many I have blocked. If BlogExplosion can’t get the Audio deny function working they should remove the limit on the number of blogs you can block.

I’ve left a ticket to about this with BlogExplosion. Let’s see if I even get a response.

These blogs remind me of the cretins who insist on playing their radios at top volume for the entertainment of the rest of us.

You can also do as I’m doing now and put your headphones on an listen to the ole stereo while surfing.

I don’t even bother with BlogExplosion anymore. I still use Rent My Blog, but all the rest of it has really gone downhill.

Personally, I don’t think that BlogExplosion gives a crap nor will they be around a year from now. They were bought recently and they were going downhill before the sale and have hit rock bottom post sale.

Strat, I don’t have a stereo where the computer is, though, and when I’m listening to music it is through the computer.

Joefish & Brian, I agree about BE. I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t around much longer. Typically I only surf long enough to be able to play BlogRocket. For me this ticket is a test. If and/or how they respond will determine if I stay with BE or leave.

jan, Can’t stand those guys either.
