For about 4 hours today I was in charge of my elementary school. Kinda.
5 bus loads of students were taken to a skating rink as part of a school wide program to promote academics and citizenship. The principal and assistant principal both went to the event as chaperones. I was supposed to go but this morning my principal asked me to stay back. I think he realized that all the administration/school leaders were going on the field trip and no one would be left behind to deal with any possible problems that might crop up.
The school didn’t burn down and no one got hurt. I did an excellent job.

Now that’s always a plus and as a bonus….this fact will look good on any resume you may need to use in the future.
