Getting ready for Thursday
I’ve got a few things I need to do tomorrow and Thursday morning so I’m all set for the Lasik surgery Thursday afternoon.
Some are things that I would probably be doing on Thursday but I don’t want to worry about them that day. Things like laundry and cleaning out the gerbils cages.
I also need to get some sunglasses. Just plain old, non-prescription sunglasses. Since I forgot to pick up the antibiotic eyedrops today, I can do both at the drugstore tomorrow.
I’m also going to change the sheets on my bed on Thursday morning. I was going to do it this past Sunday but I decided that I’d just wait so that I had completely clean sheets on the bed after the surgery.
The Miami 7
Jon Stewart on The Daily Show had a great bit about the Miami 7. Remember, these are 7 people who did drills in a warehouse but had no other jobs in order to bring in any money to carry out any plot. One claimed to be a member of al-Qaeda but wasn’t. Their leader went around in a bathrobe. Oh, and one had worked in Chicago once and may have been familiar with the Sears Tower as in he knew where it was.
Anyway, click on the clip and then pause it so it can load. Once the gray bar is completely across the bottom the clip is ready to play. Very funny stuff.
