GRRRRRRRRRRR!! 
It’s heading right for us here in Orlando. AGAIN!!
Well, I’ve done as much as I can. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any more sandbags. 
Instead, I’ve put a plastic bag over the drain in the outside door well and then put a heavy vase over that. Over the vase I’ve put a bucket and on top of that I’ve put a old computer tower that my brother left outside for 2 weeks. Hopefully that will help keep extra rain water out of the basement. I know that water will come up from the springs but maybe it won’t be as bad without the outside influence.
The dog has been to the vet and now has medicine and a cortizone shot for her skin condition. She’s also had a bath.
I’ve gotten 2 first aid kits, bread, water, batteries, a memory stick for my camera, and dog food. We also have canned food we can cook over the gas stove. And I have a nearly full tank of gas.
There’s not much more I can do to get ready for this monstrosity.
Right now I’m not looking forward to this weekend. I don’t know what I’ll do if we have another week or so out of school, either.
