Once again I find myself in the path of a hurricane.
Only three weeks after Charley hit Frances comes knocking. As things stood at 2 pm today, Orlando is directly in the path of the storm. If things stay the same it will hit here between Saturday and Sunday.
Of course, school is canceled for Friday. Just one more day that the superintendent will force us to make up. Because you know that just one day can make or break the FCAT test. Right. 
Sometime in the next two days I need to see if I can get some sandbags to protect the brand new water heater that we got because the last one was damaged when the basement flooded.
Not that I want it to hit anywhere, but I’m hoping that it keeps going north. I would rather just by brushed by this one than to get hit straight on.

I teach a course at UCF, and I dread having to make up for the missing days, too. I guess we just have to live with whatever comes our way
